Ampawa Floating Market by Airryberry
Ampawa Floating Market is in Samutsongkram Province, not far away from Bankok, just about 1 hr. by car. Here you can feel the old Thai classic living style along the river. There is a lot of Thai traditional food for u to try and the price isn’t expensive. Then you can shop the beautiful handmade goods from the shop along the rive rand chill out with the cool fresh air blowing softly pass you by.
There’re boat trips along the river at night seeing the fireflies, the beautiful insect with the light at its bottom, those hardly to find nowadays. Sorry that I didn’t spend time there until night, so I didn’t take any photo of how beautiful the insects are.
Moreover, there’s a beautiful traditional Thai wood palace thereby. Just look at the photos I took, how beautiful the palace is!
Rangsit Baby Home by Airryberry
Last week I went to “Rangsit Baby Home” with my family. We donated some food and Milk. Also paid them for a lunch. I played with some kids and they were so cute and pure. Then I felt I wanted to cry. They were so young and pure, I really want to adopt one but I can’t now coz I’m too young. When I grow up and have my own family, I think about adopting one of them.
About Rangsit Baby Home
Another side of view in Bangkok. If you enjoy the city night life in Bangkok too much and want to find something different. Here is the place I recommend you. Let’s see another view that not many people think of.
Kids in Rangsit Baby Home came from many family problems, some were adopted by their parents, some their parents died, some their parents are in the jails. But however, thought they came from several different problems, but they lost the same thing that are LOVE AND CARE, the things every life need, the thing that u received from your parents when u were young, but those children…LOST THESE NECESSARY THINGS FOR ONE’S LIFE. IF u go to the baby home, site for an hour playing with those kids will love them. They are still pure and need love from you, almost everyone will look at you with their pure eyes persuading u to play with them and touch them. That why I really wanted to cry when I was there. I love them all.
Some kids are lucky because there are some families, especially foreigners who want to adopt them as their kids. If you love children and want to adopt one or more can visit this place, learn them, get in touch with them, and ask the baby sister if u can adopt one. I saw many pics of them and their new families. I saw smile in those small faces was so happy to see those in the pics whom are adopted are now so happy and smile. But there’re still many kids here, need love from parents but no one ask to be their parents yet.
Or if you still don’t want to adopt a kid, u can also contact the baby sisters and ask if you want to donate some food, milk, clothes, stationary or money to the organization.
If today you feel down, upset and feel unlucky..remember there’re people who are more unlucky than you. Don’t leave them behind when they are also human in the same world you live and need love and care like you.

My trip to Bann Sra Serium by Airryberry
I went there by train, left bangkok at 10.25 pm sunday 18th and arrived there at 5 am.
The rural area that i went to visit is in Buriram Province in the northeast of thailand, the section that is well-known to be the poor area.
It’s a small village i visited called “Bann Sra Serium” People there still work as farmer and do some local work such as produce the beautiful silk or mat.
Electricity arrive there but less and not clean water to use, Ican see buffalos around! The children’s dresses are dirty and some of them dont wear shoes! But they are pure and friendly. We taught them and entertained them. They were so happy. We renovated the school’s toilet, also library. Put new books in the new shelves. The villagers were so happy that we gave them kindness and for free. I recieved happiness from being giver.
We also did the physical check for the villagers. All of the children have bad teeth, they have no knowledge how to brush their teeth. We taught them how to brush their teeth and gave them toobrush and toothpaste. One day,we walked with the children to see the village and visited many families.
All of them were so kind that u will hardly find this feeling from the city. They were so kind and friendly, they spoke to us and took care of us like we were members in thier families.
Here is what I learned from them: How to make silk. At first u have to take care of the bug called “mai”(silk warm) until they give birth, the babies will be covered with the yellow eggs,in thai called “dakdae” in english called “cocoon or chrysalis”.
Before they come out from the eggs,u have to boil them in the hot water and do filature and u will get cotton yarn. It is yellow then u have to bleach it to trun to white, then u can fade it to what color u design. For the “madmee silk” u will use the thread the tight it as u wish to be the texture of the silk. Or u can weave to get beautiful silk. (the silk bug after boiled is very delicious!) if u see in the pictures, u will see one pic that has a “bye sri” or a big kratong made of banana leaf decorated with flowers.
It’s a local ceremony called “bye sri” the villagers did for us to bring good luck and good wish. before we left, all children cried a lot.they didnt want us to go,also some adults.
Oh, yeah, one night we laid on the gorund watching the thousands of stars on the dark sky, so beautiful! Never seen in city for sure!
The children have thier own sports that Ithink u’d love to play! Use slingshot to shoot the lizards on the trees. They can shoot the lizards till the head torn! Scared me so bad! hehehe
When we left,we traveled to Panomrung Palace in Buriram. It’s the well-known palace that many tourists visit. U’ll see in the pics.
The rural area is not comfortable to live, u may complain a little bit but there’s something u can’t find in the city, it is kindness and pure hearts of the villagers. U will get a lot of love, pure love and respect from them. They thought we are like angels and they respect in us and love us.
U will be beloved of them and escape from busy city life. But yeah,i missed my home so much! I’m used to live comfortably.hehe
